Werner Ekau

Werner Ekau is a German marine biologist and Director of the Operational Center Germany of the International Ocean Institute . He heads the AG Fishery Biology at the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Ecology .

Ekau studied marine biology at Kiel University. His research focuses on the fishery biology of ichthyoplankton ecology, growth and population dynamics and the analysis of fish migration in coastal areas
