Werner Evers

Werner Evers (born December 19, 1932 in Hanover ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Evers attended elementary and middle school. After graduating from high school, he began a two and a half year apprenticeship as a bricklayer. He then attended the engineering school Holzminden and passed the civil engineering exam. He then worked as a candidate for inspector at a federal agency. Evers passed the administrative examination and began a six-month activity as a building inspector for the city of Langenhagen . In Langenhagen, he was head of the planning and building construction department for four years as the town construction inspector. He was also a representative of the city council. In 1964 he became co-owner of the civil engineering and road construction company "Marten & Evers KG" in Langenhagen.

Evers was a member of the Broadcasting Council of the North German Broadcasting Corporation between 1970 and 1975. In the sixth and seventh electoral periods he was elected to the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 6, 1967 to June 20, 1974.
