Werner Hüffmeier (born May 11, 1912 in Südlengern ; † December 9, 2000 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith . He then worked as a locksmith. From 1947, Hüffmeier worked for the wood and plastics union. He had been a member of the union and the youth movement of the SPD since 1928. Hüffmeier was represented in various bodies of the SPD.

From July 21, 1962 to May 27, 1975, Hüffmeier was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 14 Herford-Land-West and 145 Herford-Land II. At times he was a member of the city ​​council of the city ​​of Bünde and a member of the district council of the Herford district .
