Werner Hamerski
Werner Hamerski (born November 7, 1933 in Düsseldorf , † August 1, 2006 in Lohmar ) was a German television journalist.
Career
Born in Düsseldorf, he first worked as a freelancer for WDR from 1965 , from 1970 as editor of the Here-Now-Today department and later switched from the Science and Education program to the Culture and Church program group . From 1979 to 1994 he headed the Religion and Philosophy program group. He developed the programs God and the World , Philosophy Today and Future Talks and shaped many television programs of the WDR, including the Monday program Prisma des Westens . His series Gott und die Welt conveyed current religious and ethical issues to an audience of millions.
In 1994 Werner Hamerski retired.
