Werner Ljunggren
Werner Ljunggren , also Verner Ljunggren , (born November 29, 1921 in Forsheda Sweden ; † May 7, 2006 ) was a Swedish athlete .
At the European Championships in 1950 , Werner Ljunggren won the bronze medal in 50 km walking in 4:49:28 h . In front of him lay the Italian Giuseppe Dordoni and his brother John Ljunggren .
Werner Ljunggren was Swedish champion over 50 km in 1955 and 1956. In 1957 he won the title in 20 km walking .

- 20 km walking: 1:33:30 h (1957)
- 50 km walking: 4:22:59 h (1956)
The 50 km performance was also his only Swedish record, having achieved 4: 22.53 h in 1955, which was not recognized as a record.
