Werner Riemann (actor)
Werner Riemann (* 1934 in Amsterdam ) is a German actor .
Life
Born in the Netherlands, he came to Berlin with his parents in 1939. He completed his training as a druggist and worked in this profession until his theater career. He has been a small actor at the Berliner Ensemble since 1955 , he is also an assistant director and regularly guides groups of visitors through the theater. After starting as an actor at the Maxim Gorki Theater , he worked with brief interruptions at the Berliner Ensemble. He was also employed at the Prenzlau Theater and the Dresden State Theater and worked on various film productions.
Werner Riemann is married and the father of the songwriter Torsten Riemann , the actor Sven Riemann and the screenwriter Silke Riemann .
