Werner Wegstein

Werner Wegstein (* 1943 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German literary scholar and computer philologist .

Life

He studied German and English philology at the University of Würzburg and passed the first state examination in 1970 and the second state examination in 1973 for teaching at grammar schools in Bavaria. After obtaining his doctorate in 1980 and habilitation in 1996, he taught from 2003 to 2008 as a professor of IT philology.
