Werner Weiß (born October 5, 1928 in Rodewisch , Saxony ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1967 to 1990 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

White visited after the elementary school , the middle school , where he the high school made. From March 1944 to March 1945 he was a naval helper in the naval flak on the islands of Norderney and Juist . In July 1946 he became a member of the CDU. He then completed a commercial apprenticeship in an auditing and fiduciary office in Rodewisch and then worked as an administrative clerk in the districts of Auerbach and Klingenthal . In October 1953 he managed to escape to West Berlin . From 1954 to 1956 he was a commercial clerk in the wholesale trade in Hanover . Then he was in the preparatory service for the higher non-technical administrative service in the portfolio of the Federal Minister of Defense until 1959 . He then worked as a clerk at the Defense Division II in Hanover.

White was deputy chairman of the CDU district association Hannover-Stadt and chairman of the state committee for internal security of the CDU in Lower Saxony. Later he was a member of the Federal Committee on Home Affairs. From 1964 to 1968, Weiß was councilor of the state capital Hanover. From 1968 to 1976 he was a member of the Association's Assembly of Greater Hanover . From 1970 to 1977 he was chairman of the supervisory board of üstra AG . On June 6, 1967, Weiß moved into the Lower Saxony state parliament, to which he was a member from the sixth to the eleventh electoral period until June 20, 1990. During the entire time he was a member of the committee for internal administration. From 1978 to 1982 he was secretary of the Lower Saxony state parliament and from 1982 to 1990 chairman of the committee for public service law. Weiß has been the holder of the Federal Cross of Merit, First Class , since 1983 .
