Werner Zeitler
Werner Zeitler (born September 28, 1926 in Triebes ; † January 24, 2004 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the German Bundestag .
Zeitler joined the SPD, was chairman of the SPD local association Eving II from 1945 and was later elected chairman of the SPD sub-district of Dortmund . From 1969 to 1972 he was regional manager of the SPD regional association North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1972 to 1990. In parliament he represented the constituency of Dortmund I from 1972 to 1980 and then until 1990 the constituency of Dortmund III . From 1980 to 1983 Zeitler was the parliamentary manager of the SPD parliamentary group.
Werner Zeitler was married and the marriage resulted in two daughters. His nephew, Jan Zeitler , is Lord Mayor of the large district town of Überlingen on Lake Constance.
