Wernher (Abbot of St. Lambrecht)
According to tradition, Wernher or Werner († August 3, 1080 ) was abbot in the St. Lambrecht Abbey in Carinthia from 1164 to 1178 .
The news that he became abbot in St. Lambrecht is contained in the Ochsenhausen necrology . According to Stanislaus Wülberz's records, he came from the St. Blasien monastery . Several conventuals from St. Blasien at that time are recorded in the Lambrecht Book of the Dead, where the date of his death is also noted.
