Wernhil , until mid-2019 Wernhil Park , is a shopping and business center opened in 1990 in the Namibian capital Windhoek , located in Windhoek-Central . It is after Wern he and Hil degard List named. Werner List is the founding son of Ohlthaver & List , the largest private company in Namibia.
The shopping center with a sales area of 38,000 square meters and 75 shops (as of July 2017) is one of the largest in Namibia. In 2009, about one million people visited the mall every month.
history
With the expansion in phase 4, which began on July 3, 2017, the sales area has increased by almost 50 percent to 54,000 m² by 2019. Wernhil Park has since been the largest mall in the country along with Grove Mall .
Between 2010 and 2011, Wernhil was enlarged by around 13,000 square meters in construction phase 3.
