The Weserberglandrallye is a long-distance trip by the water sports associations for canoeists and rowers on the Weser . The start is from Hameln , Rinteln and Vlotho at the end of August and beginning of September. The goal is the Chancellor's pasture on the right bank of the Weser in the East Westphalian city ​​of Minden . The route is up to 65 km long. Every year around 1000 participants take part in the event, it is one of the largest German hikers' meetings. The 29th rally took place in 2011. The Weserberglandrallye is an association trip of the canoe club North Rhine-Westphalia eV and the Landeskanuvereins Niedersachsen eV in connection with the ring of water sports clubs around Porta Westfalica eV
