The Deilmann-Bau in Dortmund is an office and commercial building built for WestLB near the main train station from 1975 to 1978 . As with similar buildings at the headquarters of WestLB AG in Düsseldorf , Cologne and Münster , the design comes from the architect Harald Deilmann .

Due to its architecture, which is typical of the time and inspired by Pop Art , the house was entered in the list of monuments of the city of Dortmund in 2011 as a monument .

Since WestLB was broken up in the course of the banking crisis , the building is currently owned by Lanber GmbH in Marl . The tenant of a part of the building is Commerzbank, the legal successor to Dresdner Bank . After a two-year construction period, the part of the building originally used by WestLB was converted into a medical and health center. The lower floor is used by various dining facilities; the premises of the former Limerick pub were moved to a new bar with a disco.
