Westeremstek is a farming community in the municipality of Emstek in the district of Cloppenburg in Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

history

There was first evidence of Westeremstek ( Westeremsteke ) in 1239. From 1856 to 1900, Westeremstek belonged to Emstek, but around 1900 it became an independent farming community again. Westeremstek is known for its large industrial area.
