The Westfalentower is a skyscraper in Dortmund on the B 1 ( Westfalendamm ) and after the RWE Tower and the Telekom skyscraper Dortmund is the third tallest office building in the city. The building measures a total of 86 meters with 22 floors and offers approx. 9000 m² of land. The Westfalentower has a total gross floor area of almost 28,000 m² and has a three-story car park.

On November 25, 2009, the topping-out ceremony for the office tower was celebrated in the presence of Dortmund's Lord Mayor Ullrich Sierau .

The production company Westcom has been producing and broadcasting the program Sat.1 NRW from the new studio in the Westfalentower since October 2010 .

At the beginning of 2012, 90 percent of the total area was empty. The owner is the now closed fund Euroreal of Credit Suisse . At the end of May 2012 it was announced that Credit Suisse would have to find a buyer for the office building within the next five years.

It is now evident that the vacancy rate has fallen significantly. Most of the building has been used by Commerzbank AG since 2014. At the end of 2014, the company signed a lease for the use of over 46% of the total rental space in the house. Another major tenant is z. B. ProSiebenSat1.AG with its western studio.
