The Wet Sleddale Reservoir is a reservoir in the Lake District , Cumbria , England .
The reservoir is west of Shap Summit and east of Seat Robert . The lake was created to collect drinking water to supply Manchester .
The Sleddale Beck forms the tributary of the reservoir in the west. The Lowther forms its drain in the east.
