A tippet (also cape or Pelarine from French. Pèlerine "pilgrim") is a short shoulder cape that a Cape is similar and the jacket is worn. The original form of the pelerine is the “weather spot” (or puke ) made of loden or similar material, popular in the Alpine countries .
