The Whaler Channel ( English for Walfängerkanal ) is the northernmost of three small straits on the north coast of South Georgia , in the Stromness Bay for Husvik Harbor lead. The other two are the Alert Channel and the Main Channel to the south.
The name of this waterway can be found for the first time in maps of the British Admiralty from 1930.
