The White Massif is a mountain massif of the Aramis Range in the Prince Charles Mountains of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises 5 km east-northeast of the Thomson massif .
It was identified from aerial photographs taken in 1956 and 1960 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after Robert Frederick White, chief electrical engineer at Mawson Station in 1963, who died here on October 18, 1963 and was buried not far from the station.
