White Castle Building No. 8th

White Castle Building Number 8 is an early example of the architecture of the American restaurant chain White Castle . The prefabricated building, first constructed in 1936, is now in its third location in Minneapolis , Minnesota . The Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission has worked hard to preserve this threatened part of the city's architectural heritage. The building now stands at 3252 Lyndale Avenue South and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1985 .
