The Whitestone River is a right tributary of the Porcupine River in Canada's Yukon Territory .

The Whitestone River rises centrally in the Nahoni Mountains . It initially flows through it over a distance of 35 km in a northerly direction. Then the river makes a sharp bend to the east and northeast and leaves the mountains. Later the Whitestone River turns to the north-northwest. At the confluence of chance Creek settlement is Whitestone Village . Another 10 km north of this, the Whitestone River flows into the Porcupine River, which itself only arises 10 km upstream at the confluence of the Miner River and Fishing Branch . The Whitestone River has a length of approximately 180 km. It drains an area of ​​over 6730 km². The mean discharge is 37 m³ / s.
