Wichmann-Verlag
The Herbert Wichmann-Verlag is one of Geosciences specialized publishing house in Berlin and Offenbach am Main .
It was founded in Berlin in 1933 by the engineer Kurt Slawik and made a name for itself early on as a partner in surveying. After moving to Heidelberg in 1994, he further expanded his specialist areas. Wichmann Verlag has been part of the VDE Verlag since 2010 .
The specialist literature deals with geoinformatics and geographic information systems , all important areas of geodesy and surveying , photogrammetry and remote sensing, as well as traffic planning . In addition to books, the publisher is also present with offers for software and on the Internet.
