Widowmaker (also known by the name Dee Snider's Widowmaker to avoid confusion with several bands of the same name) was an American heavy metal band formed in 1992 by Daniel Dee Snider (singer and frontman of the US band Twisted Sister ) some other band members of Twisted Sister after their interim breakup in 1987.

The band released two studio albums ( Blood and Bullets , 1992 and Stand By for Pain , 1994) without making their big break. While the first album received some recognition in fan and professional circles, the second album was not a great success. For this reason, and after Dee Snider returned to his band Twisted Sister after reunification in 1997, Widowmaker officially disbanded in 2000.
