Wiebke Ullmann
Wiebke Ullmann (born February 4, 1988 in Wiesbaden ) is a German athlete and starts for TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen . Her specialty is 400 meters. In addition to her sporting career, she is studying process engineering at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences . At a height of 1.70 m, Ullmann weighs 54 kg.
career
Her career began in her hometown Bad Schwalbach at TV 1861 Bad Schwalbach. Under her first trainer Frank Schotte, Ullmann was among other things German school champion in the block Lauf in 2002. In 2004 Ullmann switched to LG Minimax Seligenstadt, where she was looked after by Robert Schieferer. In the same year Ullmann was fourth in the German youth indoor championships. A year later Ullmann became German B youth champion both at the German youth championships and at the national championships for young athletes under the indoor roof. Later in the year she qualified for the U20 European Championships in Kaunas, Lithuania . There she was second in the 4 x 400 meter national relay of the German Athletics Association (DLV) and as a single starter over 400 meters she made it to the semifinals.

In 2007 Ullmann moved from Seligenstadt to Friedberg to TSV Friedberg-Fauerbach to sprint trainer Sieglinde Weber. In the same year Ullmann was second in the German youth indoor championships and fifth in the youth championships in the open air season. She qualifies again for the U20 European Championships. In Hengelo , Holland , Ullmann was third in the DLV's 4 x 400 meter relay and, after 2005, again reached the semi-finals as a single starter over the stadium circuit. After she outgrown the youth class in 2008, she immediately took third place in the German indoor championships for women. At the end of 2008 Ullmann contested her first race over 400 meter hurdles and made it into the national team over 400 meter hurdles of the DLV in 58.57 seconds. The years before, she was a member of the German junior squad over 400 meters.
In the following year, she finished seventh over 400 meter hurdles at the German Championships in Ulm. At the end of 2009 she moved to her current trainer Karl-Heinz Düe in Leverkusen. In the following spring, Ullmann became German indoor champion over 400 meters. Because of her shown performances she was nominated in June for the U23-Känderkampf against Poland, in which she was victorious over 400 meters. She then qualified for the 4 x 400 meter relay of the DLV for the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona . As the fifth fastest sprinter in Germany over 400 meters, she was not considered in the run-up, but the Berliner Jill Richards started instead of the Leverkusen woman.
