Wieland Rose
Wieland Rose (born May 17, 1959 in Gera ; † December 30, 2007 in Jena ) was a German state parliament member of the CDU in Thuringia . He was a qualified engineer in the field of water management and was therefore particularly committed to nature conservation and the environment within the framework of his membership in parliament. Since 1997 he has been honorary mayor of the municipality of Crossen an der Elster .
After two weeks in hospital, he died of severe heart disease on the night of December 30th.
