In contrast to the MF4 and MF5 series , which were manufactured as both a roadster and a coupé, the MF3 was only available as a roadster.
description
The Roadster MF3 debuted in 1993. The model was built on the chassis of the previous Wiesmann MF30 model, but was a further technical development. The S50 engine and drivetrain come from the BMW M3 (E36) . Here as there, the in-line six-cylinder engine with 3201 cc made 321 hp. In 2001 the engine of the roadster was replaced by the S54 from the new M3 . The cubic capacity was now 3246 cm³, the performance increased like the M3 to 343 hp. In addition, the new MF3 was equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission instead of the old 5-speed gearbox. This variant remained in the range until the end of production in 2011 and was Wiesmann's entry-level model. In 2011 the final edition was presented. This model was limited to 18 pieces. The technical data stayed the same. The basic price of the special model was € 119,900.
