The Wiest Bluff is a striking cliff up to 2160 m high in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . On the western foothills of the Cumulus Hills in the Queen Maud Mountains , it rises immediately north of the confluence of the Zaneveld Glacier with the Shackleton Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after William G. Wiest, ionospheric researcher with the United States Antarctic Research Program at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1964.
