Wildfire in Kolmården Zoo ( Norrköping , Östergötland , Sweden ) is a wooden roller coaster made by Rocky Mountain Construction , which opened on June 28, 2016. It is the manufacturer's first roller coaster in Europe and the manufacturer's second roller coaster outside of the United States .

The approx. 1,300 m long route reaches a height of 57 m and has a 49 m long first descent with a gradient of 83 °. In addition, three inversions were installed. The top speed is 113 km / h.

Trains

Wildfire owns two trains with six cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) can be seated in each car.

On October 28, 2016, it was announced that Wildfire had to be shut down because the building permit had been withdrawn.

New opening

At the end of June 2017, the railway was reopened to passengers.

Award

Wildfire was awarded one of the three FKF Awards in 2016.
