Dota 2

Natus Vincere

Puppey played his first professional tournaments in Dota 2 with the Ukrainian esports clan Natus Vincere . Together with this he also took part in the first The International in 2011 in Cologne . His team won the tournament unbeaten and won $ 1 million in prize money . In the same year, the team won the Electronic Sports World Cup and won $ 12,000. They played the final against the international runner-up , EHOME . In October 2014, Puppey became captain of Natus Vincere after ArtStyle left the team.

Between 2011 and 2013, Puppey and Natus Vincere were able to take podium places in 31 tournaments. Including first place at the Alienware Cup, the StarLadder Star Series Season 7, and The Defense Season 4. At the International 2012, which was held in Seattle , they only had to admit defeat to Invictus Gaming and thus took second place. They won $ 250,000. They also took second place at the International 2013, which was also held in Seattle. In the final she was beaten 2: 3 by the Swedish team Alliance. Then they could still win the Dota 2 Champions League Season 2 in 2014. After a disappointing 7./8. Puppey left the team after Kuroky, Kuro Salehi Takhasomi , had already left the team.

Team Secret

Shortly after Puppey and Kuroky left Natus Vincere, it was announced that they would be playing for the recently formed Team Secret. After a series of defeats against the Swedish team Alliance , they were able to take second place in the Starladder Season 10. The team's first major success was winning the ESL One Frankfurt. They won $ 120,000 and prevailed against many well-known teams. Including Evil Geniuses ; the eventual winners of the 2015 International.

This victory also made them one of the favorites in the International 2015, which took place again in Seattle. However, they did poorly and only finished 7th / 8th in the end. Space.

After the bad result there was a break in the team: Arteezy, Artour Babaev, indirectly blamed KuroKy for the defeat at International, whereupon KuroKy attacked them in German forums . Two team members left the team and returned to their previous teams, Evil Geniuses and Alliance. Another player on the team, Zai, decided to quit his Dota career to go back to school. On August 22nd it was announced that the team would now consist of MiSery, EternaLEnVy, w33, pieliedie and Puppey.

After reshaping the team, it was able to take second place in the Frankfurt Major and ESL One New York. They also won the Nanyang DotA 2 Championships and the 2015 MLG World Finals. In 2016 they won the Shanghai Major against Team Liquid .
