WildFire in Silver Dollar City ( Branson , Missouri , USA ) is a steel roller coaster of the Sitting Coaster model from the manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard , which opened on April 4, 2001. It is the highest and fastest roller coaster in the park and has five inversions : an immelmann , a loop , a cobra roll , which consists of two inversions, and a corkscrew .

theme

The theme is based on a story from the 1880s by the old inventor Dr. Horatio Harris from the Ozark Plateau area . He wanted to build a flying machine to fly over the Ozark Plateau. The fuel for the flying machine was called Wildfire.

Trains

WildFire has two trains with eight cars each. Four people (one row) can be seated in each car. Shoulder straps are used as a restraint system. The passengers must be at least 1.32 m tall to be allowed to ride. A special feature is that the trains are based on the Hyper Coaster variant from B&M. The passengers have no ground contact due to the higher seating position.
