The Herborn game reserve is a 23 hectare game park in Herborn ( Lahn-Dill district ). It was founded in 1965 and is owned by the city of Herborn.
Animal species
There are around 70 animals in the enclosures, including goats , donkeys , skudden , mouflon , fallow deer , red deer and llamas . Various water birds are also native here.
Support association
On November 7th, 2017, the Herborn Game Reserve was founded with around 40 members, which has since been responsible for the maintenance and further development of the game reserve in cooperation with the city. In spring 2018 the association consisted of almost 90 active and supporting members.
