The Klosterwald wildlife park is a wildlife park in Central Hesse. It is located about 500 meters west of Arnsburg Monastery on the B488 . The park opened in 1968. The facility is located on the edge of the Hardwald Hain forest area . The wildlife park, which is open all year round (depending on the weather in winter), has an area of ​​40,000 m². Around 200 animals are kept on the site, mostly domestic, but also exotic species.

Local wildlife includes fallow deer , red deer , mouflon , wild boar and lynx , while exotic llamas , sika deer , alpacas , guanacos , kangaroos , prairie dogs and raccoon dogs . Domestic breeds such as goats , sheep , donkeys , pot-bellied pigs and four-horned sheep can also be seen. There are hares, guinea pigs and rabbits in the small animal enclosure.

Birds include emus, rheas, peacocks and storks. Different species of parakeets and owls live in aviaries.

In the entrance area there are various children's riding equipment and a barbecue area. There is a car park and a restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the park.
