Wilfred Peter "Sedi" Elrington (* in Pickstock, Belize City ) is a lawyer and politician in Belize and has been his country's foreign minister since 2008.

biography

Elrington was appointed Attorney General, Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Foreign Trade to Prime Minister Dean Barrow's cabinet on February 8, 2008 , following the United Democratic Party (UDP) victory in 2008 . As Foreign Minister, he gave a speech on September 29, 2008 at the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York. He had to give up the post of attorney general in a cabinet reshuffle in 2010.

He is also a member of the National Assembly, where he represents the interests of UDP in the Pickstock constituency .
