Wilfrid Ennenbach

Wilfrid Ennenbach (born April 22, 1936 ) is a German educator and psychologist .

life and work

After graduating from high school, Wilfrid Ennenbach studied pedagogy and psychology at the University of Education in Cologne . After working as a primary school teacher from 1961 to 1962 , he became a research assistant to Wilhelm Salber in 1965 . 1967 followed a diploma in psychology and 1968 the doctorate to Dr. phil. at the University of Cologne on the subject of investigations into a morphological teaching principle . In 1970 he was appointed to the chair of psychology at the Pedagogical University of Essen . In 1973 he moved to the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich , where he was in charge of the chair of educational psychology until his retirement in 2003 .

Ennenbach mainly researched in the area of learning . In doing so, he tied in with the concept of Viktor von Weizsäcker's gestalt group and Wilhelm Salber's psychological morphology . He examined psychological aspects of movement and sport, everyday learning and institutional learning. Since his retirement he has been working in the field of manager training.

Wilfrid Ennenbach is married and has three children.
