Wilfried Naegeli

Wilfried Henry Naegeli (born February 14, 1932 in Gloversville (New York)) is a Swiss doctor and politician ( Republican Movement ).

Nägeli studied medicine in Zurich, Montpellier and Hamburg from 1951 to 1956, and passed the state examination in 1959. 1966 doctorate he became Dr. med. From 1962 to 1967 he worked as a practicing doctor in Elgg , and from 1967 to 1975 in Aadorf (Thurgau). He joined in 1971 the Republican Movement of Switzerland and became in the elections in the fall desselbem year in the National Council elected. In 1975 he was one of the founders of the Federal Democratic Union and ran for it in the National Council elections in the canton of Zurich, albeit without success.
