Wilfried Peters

Wilfried Peters (* 1957 ) is a German manager and was CFO and temporarily acting managing director at T-Systems .

Peters studied business administration at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . After completing his studies, he went to Schwarz Pharma as an assistant to the commercial management and from 1984 to 1986 he took over the management of the corporate planning and reporting department, ultimately taking over the management of international controlling.

In 1988 he went to Sony as commercial director of the capital goods division and then became commercial director of Sony Deutschland GmbH.

The position of commercial director at DeTeSystem in 2000 was followed by the position of managing director of T-Systems with the establishment of T-Systems in 2001. From January 2005, after the unexpected death of Konrad Reiss , Peters was acting chairman of the management from April to September 2005.

After Lothar Pauly resigned from his position as Managing Director of T-Systems, Wilfried Peters took over the provisional management at T-Systems until Reinhard Clemens took office in December 2007.

In June 2008, Peters left T-Systems “because of different ideas about the alignment by mutual agreement”.

Wilfried Peters has been in charge of IT, logistics and corporate development at Peek & Cloppenburg since January 1st, 2009 and left the company in spring 2011.
