Wilfried Stauder

Wilfried Stauder (born November 27, 1963 in Schwaz ) is an Austrian tax advisor, chairman of the supervisory board of Hypo Tirol Bank AG (since 2010) and Moser Holding AG (since 2017) as well as a former politician ( ÖVP ). Stauder was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament from 2008 to 2013 .

education and profession

Stauder attended elementary school and secondary school in Volders for four years and then switched to the Federal Commercial Academy in Innsbruck , which he graduated from after five years with the Matura . After eight semesters at the University of Innsbruck , Stauder completed his studies in business administration with the academic degree Mag . In addition, he completed various courses in the banking sector as a part-time job and passed the exam to obtain the license to practice as a tax advisor or auditor.

In addition to his studies, Stauder partly worked in the banking sector and after completing his studies he worked for a bank in the equity investments and special financing sector for two and a half years. Stauder held various managerial functions and supervisory board functions in subsidiaries. He then worked for one and a half years as an assistant to the management in industry and has been an auditor and tax advisor since 1992. Stauder is also a partner and managing director at Moore Stephens Austria and lecturer at the Management Center Innsbruck .

In 2010 Stauder was appointed chairman of the supervisory board of Hypo Tirol Bank AG on behalf of the Tyrolean provincial government . Under his aegis, the bank was restructured after severe turbulence and the balance sheet volume was reduced from EUR 14 billion to EUR 7.1 billion. In 2017 Stauder was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Moser Holding AG .

politics

Stauder is the local council in Volders and represented the ÖVP in the Tyrolean state parliament from 2008 to 2013. Within the ÖVP state parliament club, he performed the duties of the area spokesman for finances.
