The Wilgum is a tugboat and icebreaker . She and two other ships belong to the company Shiptec, Industrial & Shipyard Technologies GmbH in Elsfleth, founded in 2013, and is berthed here.

The Wilgum was built in 1957 by the Jadewerft in Wilhelmshaven as hull number 50, the engine output is 466 hp and results in a bollard pull of 6.9 tbp. With a length of 21.2 m, width of 6.1 m and 2.2 m draft, the Wilgum serves as a tug and is used for icebreaking in the canals around Minden in winter. In addition to the usual towing operations, a patented silt plow, which is part of the tractor equipment, is used to level the bumps in the Weser.
