Wilhelm Büche

Wilhelm Büche (born December 7, 1906 in Weinheim ; † August 5, 1980 ) was a German politician ( KPD ).

Life

Büche had been a war orphan since 1915. After attending school, he completed an apprenticeship as a cementer in Lahr from 1921 to 1923 and worked in various cities in Germany from 1924 to 1939. He joined the Communist Youth Association in 1925 and became a member of the KPD in 1932. During the time of National Socialism he was arrested twice and temporarily interned in a concentration camp. From 1939 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier .

Büche participated in the establishment of the communist party organization in Baden from 1945 and became second secretary of the KPD state leadership. He was also city ​​councilor and district councilor in Lahr. From 1946 to 1947 he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of the State of Baden and from 1947 to 1952 as a member of the Baden State Parliament .
