Wilhelm Berall

Wilhelm Berall (born October 16, 1869 in Sereth , Bukovina ; died after 1935) was an Austrian physician and lawyer .

Life

He was the son of the merchant Herz Berall and his wife to a born leader. His home was South Bukovina, where he also attended school. He then studied at the University of Vienna . His doctorate as Dr. med. took place there on February 28, 1896. He first gained practical experience in several hospitals in Vienna. In addition, in 1904 he took up a law degree at the University of Vienna, which he graduated as a lawyer in 1908. Then he settled down as a practicing doctor in Vienna II, Heinestrasse 2. He became known nationwide as a physician through several medical publications. In particular, his book on sexually transmitted diseases, published in 1920, found greater circulation due to its common understanding.
