Wilhelm Daniel

Friedrich Wilhelm Daniel (born February 27, 1825 in Großgartach near Heilbronn , † after 1877) was a German printer and newspaper publisher .

From 1844 to 1848 he leased the Ribler'sche Hofbuchdruckerei in Hechingen and edited the Hohenzollerische Blätter . In 1848 Wilhelm Daniel moved to Balingen with his wife and children from Hechingen . There he opened a book printer and from October 1848 published a newspaper - the Political People's Gazette for Town and Country , which today continues as the Zollern-Alb-Kurier . The company passed to his son Adolf Daniel in 1867. Wilhelm Daniel and his son were among the founders of the Liederkranz Choral Society in 1877 and were also its first chairman.
