Wilhelm Diedrich

Wilhelm Diedrich (born October 6, 1925 in Wethen , † February 22, 1986 in Diemelstadt ) was a German painter.

Life

Wilhelm Diedrich studied privately with the painter and graphic artist Hugo Alfred Edelhoff from 1947 to 1950 . In 1954/55 he studied with the animal and hunting painter Antonius von Schorlemmer in Willebadessen and with the landscape painter Willi Tillmans in Kleinern . During this time he took up painting at the Düsseldorf School of Painting . Diedrich undertook further studies with Prof. Konrad Dröse at the FH Lippe . Atmospheric landscapes of the Waldecker and Warburger Land emerged, but also hunting motifs. Study trips took him from 1970 to Austria and Hungary; From 1975 studies followed on the island of Sylt .
