Wilhelm Falckenheiner

Wilhelm Falckenheiner (born December 21, 1858 in Guntershausen (Baunatal) , † November 1932 ) was a German librarian.

Life

Falckenheiner studied history, geography and classical philology in Marburg , where he also received his doctorate in 1886. As early as 1884 he worked in the Marburg University Library , in 1891 he went to the Göttingen University Library , where in 1909 he was promoted to Council IV class. He worked there until his retirement in 1924.
