Wilhelm Friedrich von Rhede (* before 1600, † after 1639) was canon in Münster .
Life
Wilhelm Friedrich von Rhede came from the Emsland family von Rhede zu Brandlecht , who owned the fiefdom of Brandlecht Castle from the 2nd half of the 15th century until 1715 . He was the son of Heinrich von Rhede zu Brandlecht and his wife Elisabeth Countess von Mansfeld-Arnstein. With the receipt of the tonsure on February 21, 1613 he was prepared for a spiritual life. In the same year he took possession of a cathedral priest from Münster . On January 26, 1629 he elected the curia of the late Canon Heinrich Ledebur. He was given permission to resign on February 26, 1637. On the following day, Johann Rotger Torck was presented as Wilhelm's successor . He later married Elisabeth von Torck zu Lengerich. The daughter Isabella Dorothea emerged from the marriage.
