Wilhelm Grathwohl (also written Gratwohl), (born February 13, 1815 in Reutlingen , † August 26, 1867 ibid) was a German politician .

Wilhelm Grathwohl was mayor in Neufra in the Oberamt Rottweil . In 1845 he was elected Lord Mayor (with the title Stadtschultheiß) of Reutlingen. He held this office until his death. Grathwohl died of a stroke that he suffered during his welcoming speech on the occasion of the Württemberg Fire Brigade Day in Reutlingen in the large town hall.

Wilhelm Grathwohl was a member of the secret council. In 1856 he was elected to the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament as a member of the good city of Reutlingen . He was a member of the state parliament until his death in 1867.

family

Wilhelm Grathwohl was the son of the master shoemaker Johann Jakob Grathwohl (1786–1834), and Anna Katherina Grathwohl née. Votteler (1780-1857). He had 12 siblings. In 1839 he married Magdalene Votteler (1816–1870), with her he had 6 children.
