Wilhelm Grillo

Wilhelm Grillo (* 1793 ; † 1827 ) was an entrepreneur from Essen .

Grillo was the son of a Protestant salt inspector. He set up a hardware store in Essen and then married a daughter of the Funke family, who held various interests in collieries , breweries and other larger companies. The two sons Wilhelm (1819–1889) and Friedrich (1825–1888) emerged from the marriage.
