Wilhelm Hecker

Wilhelm Hecker (born April 25, 1952 in Ahrweiler ) former State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs , was managing director of the Heart and Diabetes Center North Rhine-Westphalia , Bad Oeynhausen, University Clinic of the Ruhr University Bochum. Wilhelm Hecker has been Managing Director of HCON GmbH since April 1, 2015. He is a member of the CDU.

Life

From 1970 Hecker studied mathematics and computer science at the University of Bonn. He completed his studies in December 1975 with the diploma exam. After working as a mathematics teacher, Wilhelm Hecker was employed as a systems analyst at the Federal Office of Administration from September 1976 to December 1977, before moving to the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in 1978 at Herbert Ehrenberg's time . There he worked in various positions for 20 years, the last time he was appointed State Secretary by Norbert Blüm .

After two years as a management consultant and as chairman of the board of directors of Marseille Kliniken AG from September 2000 to September 2002, Hecker was managing director of the Cologne City Clinics until March 2010.

From April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2015 he was Managing Director of the Heart and Diabetes Center North Rhine-Westphalia. Until he left, Wilhelm Hecker was a member of the board of the North Rhine-Westphalian Association of Municipal Employers' Associations (VKA), a member of the VKA group committee for hospitals and care facilities and a member of the board of trustees of the Ronald McDonald's Children's Aid Foundation. Wilhelm Hecker is treasurer of the Karl-Arnold-Stiftung eV, vice chairman of ProCurand GmbH & Co. KGaA and ProCurand Immobilien GmbH, member of the board of the Health Care Region Rheinland association. Wilhelm Hecker is married and has three children.
