Wilhelm Holper

Wilhelm Holper (born April 13, 1929 in Ollersdorf im Burgenland ; † January 8, 1983 in Graz ) was an Austrian Chamber Office director and politician ( SPÖ ). From 1977 to 1983 he was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Holper was born as the son of the farmer Peter Holper from Ollersdorf. He attended elementary school in Ollersdorf and the secondary school in Stegersbach and the HTL Mödling . He graduated from the civil engineering department and graduated in 1948. Holper worked as a construction technician in the Burgenland regional service from 1948 and was employed in the construction management of Stegersbach. From 1958 he worked at the Oberwart building district office and was most recently senior councilor.

Holper was married.

Holper was a member of the SPÖ from 1948 and active in the local and district committee from 1953. In 1962 he was local chairman and from 1954 a councilor . Holper took over the office of mayor of Ollersdorf in 1958, which he held until 1981. Holper was also a member of the Burgenland Landtag from October 27, 1977 until his death.
