Wilhelm Humbeck

Wilhelm Humbeck (born June 25, 1905 in Dortmund , † May 20, 1965 in Ronnenberg ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After attending school and completing his vocational training, Humbeck worked as an employee at various companies. He was an active member of the labor movement since 1921 and became a member of the SPD in 1929. In the Second World War he was a war participant from 1940 to 1945. After the war he became managing director of the non-profit district housing and settlement GmbH in the district of Hanover in 1949.

Public offices

In 1945 Humbeck became a member of the local council and in 1946 a member of the district council. In addition, he was elected in the 7th constituency from the second to fourth electoral term to the state parliament of Lower Saxony , to which he belonged from May 6, 1951 to May 5, 1963.
