Wilhelm Kohler

Wilhelm Kohler (* 1954 in Alberschwende , Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian economist .

Life

From 1973 to 1978 Kohler studied economics at the Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck with a master's degree . He completed his doctorate in social and economic sciences at the same university in 1983 with a doctorate . The habilitation took place in 1986 with the topic "Factor proportions and international trade: theory and empirical observations for Austria" , again at the University of Innsbruck. He then held assistant professorships at the Johannes Kepler University Linz , the University of Konstanz and the University of Duisburg-Essen . He held permanent professorships from 1992 to 1996 in Essen, from 1996 to 2004 in Linz and from 2004 to date in Tübingen .

Since September 1, 2013, Wilhelm Kohler, together with Prof. Dr. Bernhard Boockmann the Institute for Applied Economic Research.
